Something I’m Reading

I’m still reading "Nine-Figure Mindset” by Brandon Dawson and I'm really enjoying it. I mentioned last week I wasn't sure how I’d like it, but I really do like it a lot. I like the idea that Brandon Dawson is somebody who actually have taken multiple companies to nine figures and that's something that I'm trying to do with several companies.

Something I Photographed

After 20 years of ranting against having an office, I finally rented an office. It’s actually kind of fun to hang out and get work done with people you love!

Something I’m Excited About

The BetterLife team continues to grow and we’re looking for our next team member! If you love sales and talking to people, this is the role for you. We are looking to hire a Junior Sales Development Rep and the position is fully remote and 100% commission based. Something I Can Answer

I’ll be answering two questions asked by a BTB subscriber. Have a question you want me to answer? Reply to this text with your question!

Question: "What habits energize you and improve your mindset?

I love my morning routine. My day starts by taking some vitamins, making coffee, reading my Bible, reading a bit of a business book, stretching, journaling in my BetterLife Book, and reviewing my goals. Establishing these habits ensures a purposeful start, setting the stage for a better, more intentional life and contribute to me having a productive day.

Question: "What should I look for in a property management company?”

When you're on the hunt for a property management company, it's like finding the right partner for your rental property journey. You want someone reliable and trustworthy. Start by checking out their reputation – ask around, read online reviews, and see what other landlords are saying.

Communication is key, so make sure they're responsive and open about their fees and processes. It's also a bonus if they embrace technology; modern tools can make your life much easier. And most importantly, find a team that knows the local scene inside out – the rules, regulations, and all the nitty-gritty details.

Something I Recommend

I was always envious of the people who are “ON” 100% of the time.  The people who don’t deal with low motivation, doubt, fear of failure, or those endless days of thinking your whole entrepreneurial journey is about to blow up in your face.  These people were running circles around me in business and real estate and when I finally figured out what they had that I didn’t – It all made sense.

These people were using a Mindset Coach to keep their eye on the prize and expose them to a higher level of thinking every single day. So when I went to find one of these coaches specifically for real estate investors, all roads lead to Jason Drees. Jason has been coaching me for nearly a decade at this point and has supported my growth from a small time investor to someone with nearly $1B worth of assets under management.

If you’re looking for an edge to accelerate your growth, talk to Jason. You can get a FREE coaching session through this link

For my health-conscious friends (or those trying to be healthier), I’ve been using MyBodyTutor for years for accountability on my fitness and diet. These guys assign you a coach to hold you accountable, track your food, suggest exercises etc. You can check them out here.
